Does anyone have any old photos knocking about that we can scan and upload onto Malmesbury.com?

We would love to be able to share them with fellow residents.

We would also supply you a copy of the images on disk which would mean that you could keep them safe for future generations.

All images would be credited with your details (unless you choose not to of course).

Hello. My great grandfather and his ancestors all lived in Malmesbury. Thomas Lot Hinwood started the Adye and Hinwood Bacon Factory. Hinwoods also had the drapers on the high street. I have photos of Hinwood family members and a nice photo of my dad with the workers at the bacon factory if they are of any interest.

Absolutely yes please! We almost gave up on the idea due to lack of take up.

We would love to build a small section on the site dedicated to old Malmesbury photo's so if we could scan them and return them that would be fantastic. Please email info@malmesbury.com with your details and we could arrange to collect.
