Gleeson exhibition - 12th and 13th November
Be quick... you each have 18 seconds
Gleeson, the developers who are planning to build up to 800 homes on Filands and the Wortheys are inviting local residents to attend a public exhibition this Friday and Saturday where they will be recording the views of everyone who attends.
Gleeson declined a request by the town council to delay their public consultation until such time as an audit on the infrastructure of Malmesbury has been undertaken.
Against the wishes of a number of local groups, they are forging ahead with their proposals and are expected to concentrate on the first phase of development consisting of 200 homes on a small section of the overall site.
Gleeson declined to say exactly how public opinion will be recorded and addressed but prefer to wait until after the exhibition to release this information.
The exhibition will run from 2pm – 8pm on Friday 12th and 10am – 2pm on Saturday 13th November, giving each resident precisely 18 seconds each!
