The two documents below give some details of Gleesons proposals for 800 houses on Filands and Whychurch fields, including the 2009 Wiltshire Council ‘Preferred Option’ site of 200 houses on Filands Fields.

Gleeson Development Options Preferred Brief

Reflecting changes introduced by the new coalition government in 2010, Wiltshire Council are now amending the draft Local Development Framework to include identification of current, local housing needs across the County rather than rely on housing figures in the old Regional Spatial Strategies which were scrapped by the government. Gleeson presented their proposals during the 2009 Public Consultation phase which ended in December, but this is the most recent, publicly available information.
