Approximately 50,000 visitors explore the beautiful 12th century Abbey.

The Abbey is open nearly 365 days a year – closing for a few days after Christmas and New Year's day and for occasional filming or maintenance.

Opening times are 10am – 5pm (changing to 4pm during the winter when the clocks are put back).

The Abbey owns a magnificent 15th century illuminated refectory bible in four volumes.
