992 (Malmesbury) Squadron Air Training Corps
"Our aim is to promote and encourage among young men and women a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force, to provide training which will be useful both in the services and in civil life, to foster the spirit of adventure, to develop the qualities of leadership and good citizenship. "Cadets are given a wide range of opportunities, ranging from Flying, Gliding, Duke of Edinburghs Award, Camps on RAF Stations, Overseas Exchange Visits, Nordic & Downhill Skiing, Various Sports, Target Shooting to Mountain Walking and Adventure Training. There is something for everyone, and those who do not wish to take part in specific activities are encouraged to try them, but are not forced to. "We parade on Monday and Thursday evenings from 1900 to 2130."
