The Tuesday Club (charity No. 1060449)
What is the Malmesbury Tuesday Club?
The Tuesday Club is for residents in Malmesbury and the surrounding areas of North Wiltshire, who feel isolated and in need of a change of scene, companionship, outings and entertainment.
The club meets most Tuesdays in the Malmesbury Leisure Centre between 12.30pm and 3.30pm together with the Organiser and some very committed volunteer helpers.
Who can join the Club?
Anyone who is over 16 and, whose chances of social contact are limited by infirmity, including impairment of sight, hearing or speech, can join the Tuesday Club. We currently provide an essential service to our members, one which represents excellent value for money. Acceptance of applications for membership is at the discretion of the Club Organiser acting on behalf of the management Committee.

What happens at the Club Meetings?
The detailed arrangements for Club members’ activities are made by the Organiser.
On arrival, members will enjoy a sandwich lunch followed by a session devoted to group quizzes, puzzles or similar “brain teasers” for those who wish to take part. Some meetings will feature a talk by a visiting speaker on a topic of interest. Sometimes members will be able to enjoy a particular craft activity. From time to time a professional tutor will lead a class in Chair Yoga. Members may continue these activities at the club and, perhaps at home. Proceedings are drawn to a close with a weekly raffle with donated prizes.
Getting to and from the Tuesday Club
Members that can’t manage to make their own way to the club can, for a nominal cost, be picked up by car driven by dedicated volunteer drivers.
