James Gray / Gleeson
Whilst full details have not been provided, Scott Chamberlin, Managing Director of M J Gleeson Group plc has contacted James Gray, MP by email.
James Gray's opposition to proposed developments in Malmesbury are once again made clear in the following extract of his response.
Response extract here, from James Gray to Scott Chamberlin, Managing Director of M J Gleeson Group plc:
Thank you for your email regarding land which you own at Whychurch Farm,
Malmesbury, which you indicate is "emerging through the Local Development
Process as the preferred location to accommodate future housing growth".
You are quite right in saying that I am wholly opposed to large-scale
development in and around Malmesbury and am likely to oppose anything
which is not within the existing framework. That will, I believe, be easier as a
result of the abolition of the Regional Spatial Strategy which removes the
pressure on wiltshire council to build large numbers of houses.
However I would of course be glad to meet you and hear further about your
proposals with regard to Whychurch Farm. Do let me know whether you will
be in London or Wiltshire in the near future.
