Front Runner scheme debated at June MDF

No minutes were taken at last week's MDF meeting but discussions were centred around the Front Runner Scheme, which provides communities with £20k funding to assist with putting together a Neighbourhood Plan.

Malmesbury Development Forum Notes - May 6th 2011

School capacity, Localism and the future of the MDF were the key issues covered at last week's MDF meeting. Whilst no formal minutes were taken, the following notes have been compiled by Town Council, Chamber of Commerce and Residents' Association representatives.

MDF Meeting - March 2011

An MDF meeting took place on 25th March at 2.30pm in the Town Hall.

As the MDF (Malmesbury Development Forum) is not a formal, council run group there is no obligation for the council to provide someone to take minutes and therefore no funding available to allocate to this service. The result is that no minutes were taken at this meeting.

This structure of the MDF is likely to have to change and be formalised as a working party under the Town Council to allow funding opportunities to be realised.

MDF Meeting - November 2010

Malmesbury Development Forum (MDF) discuss Vision for Development in Malmesbury

Local organisations met on 26th November under the banner of the MDF to discuss a new vision for the future of Malmesbury. 'Terms of reference' were thrashed out to 'provide structure and clear rules to guide the process and keep the group cohesive', followed by a presentation of the Residents' Association Exit Poll results at the Gleeson exhibition earlier in the month.
