Places available for Malmesbury School lecture on Dealing with Terrorism

Places are still available for the house lecture at Malmesbury School taking place on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. The subject is ‘Defining and Dealing with Terrorism in the 21st Century’, by Dr Anastasia Filippidou.
Dr Filippidou’s field of expertise is conflict analysis and resolution; peace processes and negotiations; ending of terrorist campaigns; psychology of war and peace; the role of leadership in conflicts and their resolution.
Anastasia worked at the Joint Services Command and Staff College and with the Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy Studies, at the Defence Studies Department directing the development and delivery of the Tactical Negotiation Skills and Piracy Issues workshops for the Royal Navy (European Piracy Task Force); the US Naval War College, Rhode Island; the Military College in Ireland (Maynooth) and the European Task Force in Naples. Anastasia worked with the Centre for Defence Studies, delivering courses on terrorism and counterterrorism for the Home Office.
