Park Road proposals for 200 houses 

A developer, White Lion Land, is proposing to build at least 70 houses between Park Road and White Lion Park.

The plans also indicate that this could be one of a number of 'phases' of housing that could eventually be built. There is also adjoining land, owned by Crest Nicholson, the site of former allotments which would no doubt follow if the White Lion Land development were to proceed. There was a public consultation in the Town Hall and there was a general feeling that most people were against this development including James Gray our MP. Whether White Lion Land will come back with new proposals it is not clear.

Perhaps we shall find out on the 14th of September!
