Jimmy-cricketA bit of cricket in the town centre is coming to Malmesbury next week, but not the game, as it will be Jimmy Cricket - the comedian who will be bringing his family show bursting with giggles to Malmesbury Town Hall.

Jimmy Cricket is one of the UK’s most loved Irish Comedians, having made a host of televisions and radio appearances throughout the last three decades.

Jimmy is excited to be visiting the area because it has been a couple of years since he last made an appearance in the Wiltshire region.

This time Jimmy is bringing his credit crunch busting show under the title of “the Jimmy Cricket value for a tenner show”, where all tickets are priced at £10 and children accompanied by an adult can come to the show for £2.50.

Jimmy said, “It is great to be visiting Wiltshire. For this visit I have kept the price of a ticket especially to a really affordable level. This is because I know how expensive it is to take a family out anywhere these days.”

“But I hope the price and the show will attract the different age groups, from granny to grandchild alike. I can certainly guarantee there will be chuckles galore or your money back!”

“The last few months have been really busy for me. Not only have I been involved with a summer season at the Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne but I made an appearance on BBC3’s Comedy Marathon recorded at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and recently I appeared on John Bishop’s new Comedy show for Sky 1 called ‘Only Joking’ which will be broadcast next January.
