Fire crews mobilised for fires in the open at Corsham and Market Lavington

FIRE crews in Wiltshire were mobilised to tackle two fires in the open at Corsham and Market Lavington yesterday evening.

Both were found to be controlled burns and no action was required.

The first took place at 7.25pm at Market Lavington where one crew from Devizes was mobilised to a fire in the open at Spin Hill.

The second happened at 8.51pm when a Corsham crew was sent to Leafy Lane in the Box Hill area for a large fire that could be seen.
