Town's package free store opens

A NEW store has opened in Malmesbury offering shoppers zero packaging when they buy their food.

The Wild Food Company sell a range of unpackaged loose foods covering all the staples including, oats, seeds, nuts, lentils, rice, pasta, peppercorns and popping corn using their gravity dispensers.

Our little library on the green

A SMALL but perfectly formed library has opened on the Village Green at Lower Stanton St Quintin.

The Wee Free Library was declared open on Saturday, June 22, by Cyril Pennington who gave a talk on the history of the green and about how it had a pond 80 years ago.

Rugby player inspires

PUPILS from Malmesbury School welcomed professional English Rugby Union player James Gibbons to the school last week.

He was there to inspire the students to live a healthier, with a circuit class of the pupils and brought medals to show them.
