Church surprise for stalwart's 95th birthday Featured

BIRTHDAY girl Helen Barker was given a surprise party by the congregation of her village church on Sunday.

Helen, who celebrated her 95th birthday yesterday, was at Brokenborough Church on Sunday and expected it to be a day like any other.

But at the end of the service during which Helen read a lesson both the Rev Bob Hyatt and Richard Robins stood up to wish her well and then coffee and birthday cake were served to all.
