Storm Brendan brings flooding to Malmesbury

HOMES in Malmesbury were inundated with water overnight when torrential rain caused flooding in parts of the town.

TRAFFIC in the Chippenham area is likely to be delayed this afternoon after two Army trucks reportedly failed to negotiate the roundabout above the M4 and ploughed into the soft turf centre.

Wiltshire debt worries

Wiltshire’s Citizens Advice service is bracing itself for a large influx of debt related calls at the end of January.

The date of the January meeting of Malmesbury Area Board has been changed to avoid the post-Christmas and New Year holidays.

FLYBE bosses have held crunch talks with the Government in a bid to save the airline.
