Malmesbury Abbey to light up purple

MALMESBURY Abbey will turn purple for World Pancreatic Cancer Day, to shine light on the silent killer.

The Abbey will be joining iconic landmarks around the world such as London's Trafalgar Square and lighting up purple to show support for pancreatic cancer awareness month and to remember those who have sadly died of the disease on Thursday, November 16 at 7pm.

Town unites to fly the flag for Malmesbury

malmesbury-high-streetRetailers and residents have joined forces to market Malmesbury in a bid not to be overshadowed as supermarket giants look to open stores in the town.

St Jospeph's Catholic Primary School Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday 19th November 2011 between 11am and 1.30pm at Malmesbury Town Hall.  There will be Christmas crafts, cafe, cakes, toys, books, bric-a-brac, tombola, raffle and many other stalls and games for all the family.
