Vine Tree hosts Breast Cancer Care fundraiser

THE Vine Tree in Malmesbury is holding a fun-filled night of entertainment this evening in aid of Breast Cancer Care.

The Inn, at Foxley Road, is hosting a Pink Night which will feature a glass of pink prosecco, canapés on arrival followed by mains and desserts.

VILLAGERS felt like they had just stepped into a fairytale last weekend as they wandered around Sherston for a magical scarecrow trail and Window Wonderland displays.

Community comes together to bring Queenie home

COMMUNITY spirit has ensured that Queenie the Hilltop Hare is returning to Malmesbury after thousands of pounds were collected to buy it at auction.

THIEVES broke into Malmesbury Abbey and stole money and silverware in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Local reports say the heist took place last night and was confirmed when a cleaner arrived at the 7th century abbey at 8am.

A SERIOUS crash has closed the A360 at Tilshead.

Emergency services were called to the scene just before 7am this morning following a report of a two vehicle collision.
