Human error is to blame for under-pricing on Co-op shelves, according to staff at the High Street branch.

After coffee was recently found to be incorrectly priced at the Gloucester Road store, a different product has now been spotted at their smaller store. Whilst staff are happy to immediately refund the difference, they acknowledged that it's at the shelf, where products are priced, that customers make their decision whether or not to buy.
Staff were unable to give any figures as to how many products were likely to be wrongly priced but suggested that there were likely to be more.

Customers are asked to be vigilant and notify staff of any wrongly priced items to assist them in their quest to minimise the number of customers being overcharged at the till.
