bicycleMalmesury Royal Air Force Cadets will be participating in a 24 hour bike ride, starting at 12:00 this Saturday in Crudwell, in a bid to raise money for the charity "Against Breast Cancer".

The Cadets will be taking part in the form of two teams: 992 Alpha – consisting of five riders in addition to one adult member of staff, and 992 Bravo - consisting of six riders and one adult member of staff.

The ride is tackled by each team as a relay, with team members taking it in turns to complete one lap of the 7 mile course. The two teams are aiming to rack up a noble 48 laps each.

The bike ride, which has been running for several years, is held annually at Crudwell. Spectators of the event are treated with live music and BBQ food in addition to the thrill of seeing the riders take part. Since its conception the event has raised over £325,000 for numerous charities.

The Squadron is currently raising sponsorship - if you would like to sponsor either of the Malmesbury Squadron's teams, please contact them via telephone on 01666 825079, email via this contact form, or write to them at the address below.
