flowersFuneral Celebrant and Soul Midwife Caroline Wilkes has just arrived in Wiltshire after spending a year in Surrey and the South East training and practicing as a funeral director.

Caroline is returning to her professional roots hoping to bring solace and care to those who have recently lost someone they love.

A qualified celebrant since February 2012 Caroline took professional tutoring as a companion to the dying. From Shropshire originally, she is a spiritualist at heart but embraces all religions and faith. Having worked in towns and corners of London such as Woking and Tooting she has acquired the customs and nuances of Christian variances, Hinduism and Islam.

Following her mother's premature and tragic death in 2006 Caroline recalls feeling 'an overwhelming sense of a need to help and support others when they need it the most.' From then on she has not looked back. The funerals she has already undertaken for Wiltshire and Gloucestershire families remains for her a healing provision for those in a similar situation.

Caroline is now based in Malmesbury serving North Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. Any spare-time is taken up with her work as a Soul Midwife, artisan and hospice carer. She is looking forward to making some new friends at the upcoming Cotswold Care Hospice Solstice Walk on June 20th this year.

Caroline can be contacted any time on 01666 311243 and more details of her work and passions can be found at www.heart-shaped.co.uk.
