The Crudwell CE Primary School annual May Fair, organised by the Friends of Crudwell School, is taking place on Saturday 21 May from 1pm to 6pm.
Christmas pop-up shop, we will be open at Southgate Cottage, 72 High Street, Malmesbury on Friday 27th November from Noon until 9pm and Saturday 28th November from 9am until 4pm.
It’s crabapple season! Once again local condiment makers, Tracklements, are getting together with Sherston Primary School to embark on the Crabapple Project; a great way to teach the children the provenance of the food they eat. They use the collected crabapples to make their delicious Crabapple Jelly. For every kilogram of crabapples collected, 50p will go to the school and for every jar of Crabapple Jelly sold nationwide; 25p will be given to the school to donate to a charity of their choice.
Crabapples are “wild” apples and can often be found in the British hedgerows, nestled amongst other trees; why not pick a few on your Sunday walk?
If you have any crabapples you won’t be using and would like to support the local school, Tracklements would love them! All you need to do is drop them off at Tracklements, Whitewalls, Easton Grey, SN16 0RD (01666 827044, open 9am-5pm Monday-Friday) from the beginning of September until Friday the 23rd October.
