princes foundation poster mindvision mediaA new era where local people shape the future growth of their neighbourhoods has begun in England.

Localism empowers local people to decide on a number of aspects that will determine their neighbourhood’s future.

The Prince’s Foundation for the Built Environment, together with Wiltshire Council and the Malmesbury Neighbourhood Forum, is holding a community planning workshop in Malmesbury to develop a consensus based vision in regards to creating a spatial framework for the area’s change. As part of this process we are inviting you to two public open sessions aimed at making this as inclusive a process as possible.

You are invited to attend the following public sessions:

Workshop Introduction

Monday 27th of February - 6:30pm for 7pm
Malmesbury Secondary School

This session will provide the opportunity for local residents to raise issues and concerns in relation to the development of the Neighbourhood Plan for Malmesbury.  The Prince’s Foundation will be available to answer questions about the process.

The Vision

Thursday 1st of March - 6.30pm for 7pm
Malmesbury Town Hall

This session will provide an opportunity to view the outputs of the workshop sessions and the Vision and actions produced at this early stage of the Neighbourhood Plan preparation process. Local residents and stakeholders therefore have the opportunity to comment upon and revise these visions and actions over the period in which the Plan is to be developed. We hope that you take this opportunity to help shape the vision for the future of Malmesbury and its wider community.
