Each of the shops are being offered the opportunity to donate a voucher to the value of their chosen amount. The vouchers will be used as raffle prizes and will be sold during the Malmesbury Late Night Shopping event. Some of the vouchers may be combined together to provide an even spread of prizes with some larger amounts being used as Grand Prizes.
Where is the money going?
All profits from the promotion will be used specifically to promote the town centre.
We believe that the town centre needs additional promotion to help raise awareness of everything it has to offer.
What’s in it for the shops?
The voucher prizes will bring shoppers into the town centre and promote awareness of the wide variety of shops that we have here. Proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be used to further promote the town.
Who's backing it?
The Residents' Association, Malmesbury.com and the Chamber of Commerce, not to mention all the shops that are putting raffle prizes forward!
Where can I buy raffle tickets?
Raffle tickets will be available at the Late Night Shopping event and various shops will also be selling them between now and the date of the draw, which is 16th December.
Are you looking for a product or service? Please help to keep Malmesbury thriving by supporting its local businesses and organisations.
One of the reasons we set up Malmesbury.com is to promote the availability and importance of buying local produce from independent retailers in order to strengthen and support our local economy and help our community preserve its cultural identity. There is an extremely rich seam of resources right under our noses but if we don't know what's there it's easy to unnecessarily end up going further afield.
