The Glastonbury image was taken from a height of 3,500 feet at 5.30 pm on Sunday 26th June 2011 by Blom Aerofilms based in Cheddar, Somerset.
With clear skies an aerial survey aircraft captured the entire 5 mile square site vertically in ultra high resolution as 150,000 festival goers basked in the sun on one of the hottest days of the year.
The aerial image is part of a photography exhibition by Robert Peel that also features aerial photographs of WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) and a unique collection of photographs of historic Malmesbury.
The Glastonbury aerial photograph measures over 2 metres across and is produced on a high grade lightweight 5mm board.
The exhibition runs until Wednesday 31st August.
