Turner visited Malmesbury twice in his early career and sketched and painted many scenes around the town, which can currently be viewed at a special exhibition at the Athelstan Museum. On 14th November, Eric Shanes, one of the world’s leading authorities on Turner will give a talk on the subject.
St Jospeph's Catholic Primary School Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday 19th November 2011 between 11am and 1.30pm at Malmesbury Town Hall. There will be Christmas crafts, cafe, cakes, toys, books, bric-a-brac, tombola, raffle and many other stalls and games for all the family.
